• Net Casino Sucker Wagers — Part Two

  • Progressive side bets: Casino games like Caribbean Stud Poker regularly have one of these. You generally lay a wager (a dollar is the normal amt.) to attempt to win a bonus jackpot that could reach $25,000. Though huge jackpots like these are particularly tempting, they’re also particularly complicated to win. You would have to get a Royal Flush in order to hit this wager. Also, picture this- you play twenty hands and put the side bet each time. That’s $20 you should have used towards the actual game wager instead of a sucker wager. Picture what you could have been able to win at a wager with better odds employing that $20.
  • Individual number bets in Roulette: This is completely true for American Roulette. The reason? American Roulette has two 0’s on the wheel, as opposed to European Roulette, which has just 1. This shifts the complete casino advantage from 2.63percent with a single zero wheel to a whopping 5.26percent in American. The one number wager has only a 1 in thirty eight chance of succeeding, which are very big odds indeed. Try even-odd or black-red wagers alternately which have a much lower casino advantage.
  • Keno: Any variation of Keno, and anyway you gamble on it, the casino advantage can be a whopping twenty-five percent. No, that was not a error. Due to the huge amount of numbers you must select, it’s not advisable to gamble on Keno very much. A few times for fun, perhaps. But do not spend all your money on it or you’ll quickly discover yourself bankrupt.
